Elizabeth & Preston's classic wedding at Aurora Farms in Taylors, SC
This morning wedding focused on traditional and simplistic roots - although, simple feels too dull a word. Elizabeth was elegant in the way that required no frill or extravagance. The kind and gentle way she carried herself, shined brightly throughout the day. She had a humble presence that photographed so beautifully, it was hard to believe she hadn't modeled in the past. Preston was relaxed and intentional. He walked into the venue ready to sweep Elizabeth off her feet.
Their ceremony was gospel-centered and took moments to pause and reflect on the Lord. Many tears were shed, and equally as many smiles. Their day was short but never rushed. They enjoyed food with their guests, before driving off in their vintage mustang to get their bags for their honeymoon.

Taylor & Jackson's bright and joyful garden wedding at The Morehead Inn in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Taylor was intentional about curating a wedding day that felt authentic and made room for her to live in the moment. We flowed with the changes of the day and embraced every moment as intimate & irreplaceable. The couple focused their energy on making sure their guests knew how special they were to them and included many sentimental touches throughout the day. Guests enjoyed refreshing cocktails as they made their way through the garden and spent time admiring the immaculate floral displays. The flowers were a bright representation of Taylor's personality - unique, bold, and colorful.
Brooklyn & Nates cheerful & artistic celebration overlooking the Appalachian Mountains at The Shiloh.
The Axce's had their hearts set on making their wedding feel unique, fun, & Christ-centered. They hand designed much of their decor and even their invitations. Nate wore a brown suit and Brooklyn chose colorful flowers that matched her personality.
The couple treated their guests to live music during the ceremony, while they overlooked the foothills. They said their vows under a giant willow tree and paused for a moment of worship. Their reception was marked by touching speeches, laughter, and fun.
Jules & Chris' charming sunset wedding at The Historic Rice Mill in Charleston, South Carolina
I met Jules & Chris many years ago after they won a giveaway with me through Instagram. We connected immediately. Months later when they got engaged, I had the honor of photographing their engagement photos & eventually, their wedding.
They read their vows with the red brick and white window mill standing tall behind them. Guests shed tears as they read letters of commitment, and then they slow danced on the back patio overlooking the marsh as the sun sunk low in the sky.
These two are as kind hearted as they are good looking... I mean, aren't they gorgeous? It was obvious as speeches began, how loved & special they are to the people in their lives. I'm so grateful to have been in attendance.

Bei & Taylor's romantic wedding at The Royal Hill Hotel in the Albanian Foothills
Their wedding incorporated traditional Albanian elements, with a timeless flair. With a private ceremony of 50 guests, and a roaring reception with nearly 300 locals, the Bei & Taylor made sure to provide an incredible guest experience. Seated in the Royal Hill's incredible ball room, guests were served a 5 course meal of local Albanian dishes. Following dinner, dancers in traditional village attire put on a show for guests & they danced well into the 3 o'clock hour.

Reed & Lauren's classic wedding at Anne Springs Greenway in Fort Mill, SC
When I did Reed & Laurens engagement photos, I knew they would be a couple that I kept up with in the long run. They were easy to talk to - and so, easy to connect with.
Their wedding was focused on their friends & family. They said their vows in a big white barn that Lauren draped in dusty blue details. Afterwards, they made the most of their evening on the dance floor with friends.

Casey & Zach's intimate ceremony on the airport runway in Rock Hill, South Carolina
When I met Casey and Zach, I knew immediately we were a match... As a couple they had two elements that really spoke to me as a wedding photographer: 1) they wanted a wedding that felt like them 2) they really loved each other.
And so, on an overcast May afternoon, Casey & Zach stood before the runway and committed themselves to one another. Afterwards, their closest friends and family gathered in a white plane hangar for drinks and dancing. It was a movie rolling before my eyes & an honor to photograph.
Olivia & Ethyn's heartfelt ceremony at Aurora Farms in Taylors, South Carolina.

Oh, what a Jesus-filled day. Olivia and Ethyn's wedding was so obviously and beautifully catered around their faith in Christ. Their every intention honored Him and helped their guests to further know Him.
Their love story was pure and effortless. Olivia wasn't stressed about the flowers and the food - she just cared about Ethyn. and his focus in return, was completely focused on Olivia.

Diana & Erik's playful celebration at The Alexander Homestead in Charlotte, North Carolina.
One thing is for certain, Diana and Erik came to party. This couple was incredibly invested in their guest experience and made sure to have fun around every bend. From making their family photos a lively garden hour, to surprise performers at their reception - every guest left this wedding with a smile... Even the dogs. They shared their vows beneath a garden-side gazebo, and ran around the garden for their couples portraits. After the sun set, they danced their hearts out with their loved ones and ended the night with a private dance.
